Texas Monthly Lease Agreement

In Texas, a month-to-month rental agreement, sometimes known as a "tenancy-at-will," is a contract between a landlord and a renter that lasts until either side ends it. The lease is identical to the standard lease agreement , except for the lack of an end date. All residential laws remain in effect (Title 8, Chapter 92). The landlord may change the month-to-month lease terms with thirty (30) days' notice. Before negotiating and establishing a lease , it is recommended that the landlord get a rental application from the prospective tenant and run a background check.
