Delaware Boat Bill of Sale

A Delaware vessel bill of sale records all aspects of a motorized vessel's sale or purchase in the state. The bill of sale includes necessary particulars such as the mutually-agreed purchase price during the time of transaction and the vessel's condition. Furthermore, the new boat owner will have to submit an authenticated sale document to the Delaware Department of Fish and Wildlife (DFW) during the vessel registration process. Signing Requirements - The paperwork must be signed by both the purchaser and the vendor. If the vessel was formerly possessed, validation is required.
